Would this be a good size surfboard for me?
I’m 6′5″, 195 lbs and very athletic. I’ve surfed once before and got up right away and I plan to log lots of time in the water. So I was wondering if a Big Guy Tri board would suit me right. Here are the specs: * 6′10″ x 19 Fiberglass surfboard Blanks 7/8″ x 2 2/3″ * Hand shaped Australian polyurethane foam blank * Fiberglass Construction with 2 x 4oz cloth on top and 4oz cloth on bottom * Superfin Removable thruster Tri-Fin set up including a set of 3 fins (FCS Compatible)I live in the northeast if that makes any difference. I was also thinking about a funboard but since I will be surfing a lot I figured I would just buy a shortboard right off the bat, but since I’m taller than most regularshortboards thought this would be my best bet. Thanks in advance for your input!
