These tie-downs work well on a car without a rack. The car is protected, the board is protected and held well. I did one long trip with a board on the car, and now use them all the time for the short drive to the beach. I don’t cinch them down too tight on my son’s soft (foam) board, because the board gets indents, but this is due to the type of board, not any problem with the tie straps. These have kept me from having to buy a rack for the car, which I would have had to buy straps and pads for anyway.

If you could have any design on a surfboard, what would it be? Surfers and nonsurfers alike!?
If you could have surfboard Designing any design/picture/graphic on a surfboard, what would it be? What kind of theme would you like to see on a board?I’m entering a graphic art surfboard design contest and i would like to hear the public’s input :)
