Used this product to mount a David Nuuhiwa Lightweight longboard in a stairwell. People using the stairwell have to walk under the mounted surfboard. Not only is the board itself very valuable, but the lives of my loved ones who use the stairs are invaluable as well. Hence, I considered this product very carefully.

At first, I was going to reinforce the bottom, weight-bearing component. As I installed the mount however, it seemed strong enough so I didn’t install any additional angle brace or anything. I did hook up a secondary line of support though, consisting of a rope inserted into a hole in the tail fin (for the leash) and tied to an eye-hook (screwed into a wall stud).

The overall system seems safe enough. I do plan to inspect it yearly though, as I have some doubt about how well the plastic will hold up under stress over the long term. I only wish they made this same product out of stainless steel or aluminum.

B&A: Just another excerpt begging to be ripped apart with critiques?
Well, a but more than just dialogue, but still :} Rayna was just attacked by a shark, which was really Levi. They don’t know each other, or that they’re shifters, so I’m trying to get a sense of surprise and urgency. Tell me what you think. She started flailing, trying to get off the beast’s back. She had no strength to push herself off so she balled her fists and bashed the thick skin, barely making a dent. Aggravated, the shark rolled over and dropped her into the shallow water. She screamed before standing up and limping to the shore. When she felt the warm sand in her tows, she looked back, hoping to see a sign that the shark was dead. “Oh my gosh!” she screamed, running up the beach but bending over in pain. She looked down, she could see her hip bone- blood coated ripped flesh bordered it. When she looked at it, the pain doubled. “Get away from me!” she surfboard Wall Borders yelled, tears running down her cheeks. A young boy, of around fifteen ran out of the water- soaked, black hair stuck to the side of his face, framing those vicious green eyes. “I- I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were a shifter,” he said, plopping down on his knees in the sand, ripping off a section of his shirt. “Same goes for you,” she said, pushing against her wound. The boy smiled slightly while wrapping his shirt strips around her hip and leg before securing it. “Name’s Levi,” he said, pulling his hands away and examining his work. “That’ll do for now,” he said standing up and offering out his blood-stained hand. “Rayna,” she said, accepting it and pulling herself up on one leg. “I need to get to the hospital in the Shifting Lands; I don’t trust the mortal ones.” Levi took her arm, bent down, and picked her up, causing her to wince while her leg was pushed against him. “Scary aren’t they? The portal’s just ahead,” he said, walking towards an old, abandoned blue shack. “I thought I would’ve injured you a little more than that,” Rayna mumbled, disappointed with the ease her carried her with. “I thought you would’ve put up more of a fight, they say Orcas are stronger than Sharks.” He kicked open the door to the old shack. Since the windows were boarded up, the inside was completely black. One could make out some beach toys up on the walls, a surfboard broken in two laying across a table, and a life preserver. “You caught me by surprise,” Rayna pushed on. “I could take you if I was ready.” Levi mumbled a reply as he scanned the room looking for something, a rug. He spotted it over in a corner. “Then, we must have a rematch one day,” he said, lifting up Rayna and throwing her on the rug- rather, through the rug.OOh, that one stung! it is cheesy though, isn’t it? hmm
