I need advice on a 6′8″ funboard……?
I am considering getting a surfboard and dnt know what kind to get. I have about waist high waves most of the time and sometimes have larger during storms. I am fairly new to surfing but have skimboarded for a while. I took the advice of John F and went to a local surf shop and talked to them. Large surfboard surf They pointed me to a 6′8″ funboard. Would this tyype of board turn well and carve well, but still have float??? i would also like to add that i am between 5′10″ and 5′11″ and weigh about 115 lbs thanks… i would like to know as much as possible about this size and type of board. THXI’d also like to add that i’m worried about getting a board that i will shortly become bored of and require to purchase a new board. I advanced very fast with skimboarding and quickly surpassed the zap large wedge that i purchased. I fear the same will happen with surfing and want a board that will last me a long time. I want the kind of shortboard feel and style of surfing thx
