Where is the best place (city) to stay at in Costa Rica?
My friend and I are 18 and we are going to vacation in Costa Rica for 2 weeks at the end of May and I was just wondering where the best place to stay is (city, hotels, etc.)? We would like to try City surf Shop some surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, laying on the beach, etc. We would also like to go somewhere that is relatively safe and that has a pretty good nightlife. We both know Spanish pretty well so that is not really an issue for us. Any suggestions as to where we should go and/or stay in Costa Rica?also, we would like to stay somewhere that has some other activities or that is within driving distance of other sites or activities (ziplining, hiking, shopping— those sorts of things) if possible.
