These tie-downs work well on a car without a rack. The car is protected, the board is protected and held well. I did one long trip with a board on the car, and now use them all the time for the short drive to the beach. I don’t cinch them down too tight on my son’s soft (foam) board, because the board gets indents, but this is due to the type of board, not any problem with the tie straps. These have kept me from having to buy a rack for the car, which I would have had to buy straps and pads for anyway.

Isle surfboards anygood?
I am getting a little bit better, and I am tired of renting or borrowing different boards surfboard Isle all the time. I want to get my own that is the same everytime I go out. What do you guys think about Isle boards. They are fairly cheap and I know my friend use to have one and I thought it was good. Thanks!!
