Though I read the opposing review before I purchased this board bag, I still took a gamble. It paid off. The reflective side of the board is built with the sun in mind. The “tin foil” reflective material (in fact very durable) protects my board from overheating while in transit. The opposing side of the bag is stylish and useful at the same time with a pocket for fins/leashes. I am so glad I bought this bag and would recommend it to anyone looking for protection for their long board (I have a 9′4″ and the 9′6″ bag works perfect with a little extra wiggle room). Keep up the good work DaKine!

hmmm, to buy or not to buy? (surfers only please)?
so someone i know offered to sell me a 5′11×18x2 3/4 Rusty surfboard for $85 (fins, surfboard Sock Cover leash, and sock cover included). and its in good condition, so what do you guys think? should i buy it? im thinking, if i end up liking the board i have now better than it, the rusty board is a good looking board and i could probably re-sell it or something.

I am upset with my purchase and haven’t gotten around to returning yet. When the product arrived it was a very different color than appeared in the picture. As you can see from teh picture the bag looks charcoal/grey as it is called. However the bag I received was shiny silver, like tin foil!
