I highly recommend Kids surfboard. I think it was the best investment I did.
What causes the effect of seeming to glide backward while standing on a beach when the tide goes back out?
My kids and I just returned from the beach, and it had been a decade since I’d been to one. Because it was so cold, we just stayed near the edge, allowing the waves to crash into us at about knee level. both my daughter and I noticed a very strong Kids surfboard effect of seeming to suddenly glide backward at a rapid pace a few second after the tide began to go back out. we would both feel it over and over at exactly the same moment, and it felt like what I guess surfing probably feels like (having never been on a surfboard). My son, on the other hand, never experienced it at all, no matter how many times and ways he tried to see what we were talking about. What causes the effect, and why would some feel it and someone else not? My son, by the way, has mild autism. I know his brain processes things different, and he’s highly sensitive to most stimuli. Could it be possible that difference could actually impact his ability to feel what we did??
